Huddersfield TUC The voice of Trade Unions in the Kirklees area
Huddersfield Trades Union Council is a local body of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) comprising delegates from local trade union branches working or living in the Kirklees area (Holmfirth Huddersfield Dewsbury Batley).
Our aims
raise public awareness of rights at work and the union role enforcing those rights promote organising and recruitment drives to build union membership support union and community campaigns for dignity and respect in the workplace and beyond
Affiliation
The affiliation fee is only 10p per member per year The fees are payable annually and cover the period from 1st January to December 31st . All cheques should be payable to ‘Huddersfield TUC’
Our Meetings
Huddersfield TUC meets every fourth Thursday in the month (except December) at Yorkshire Children’s Centre Brian Jackson House New North Parade Huddersfield Hd1 5JP at 7.00 pm (please check with secretary first) All trades unionists are welcome to attend
