The trade union world has suddenly changed with an upsurge of strikes over this summer, especially following the RMT strikes. From BT picket lines and the impending postal workers strike to the unofficial walkouts at Amazon, this wave of action is something for trade unionists to celebrate. It is a real change from the decades of workers being forced to be defensive.

This discussion will look at the reasons for this strike wave and examine the best ways to deliver solidarity with workers in struggle.
